Terms & Conditions

These Terms of Service set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Nerdso and users in connection with the use of our website and tour services.

Services

All online services provided by the Company through its website, including browsing tour information, making reservations, and completing payments.

User

Any person who accesses the Company's website and uses the Services in accordance with these Terms.

Booker

A person who selects a tour product and proceeds with reservation and payment, entering into a contract on behalf of themselves and any accompanying participants.

Tour

Any sightseeing, activity, experience, or photography service provided by the Company or by partner providers such as guides, photographers, and local operators.

  • • These Terms become effective upon being posted on the Company's website.
  • • The Company may amend these Terms to the extent permitted under applicable laws and regulations.
  • • Amended Terms will be posted at least 7 days before they take effect.
  • • Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes agreement to the amended Terms.

We provide the following Services:

  • • Browsing and viewing detailed tour information
  • • Making tour reservations and completing online payments
  • • Reservation confirmations and change/cancellation information
  • • Any other related services as determined by the Company

The Company may modify or discontinue part or all of the Services for operational or technical reasons with prior notice on the website, except in urgent circumstances.

  • • Users must provide accurate and truthful information when making a reservation, including name, contact details, and email address.
  • • The Company is not liable for losses arising from false, inaccurate, or incomplete information provided by the Booker.
  • • The Booker is responsible for obtaining consent from all accompanying participants and informing them of these Terms.

A tour contract is formed when:

  • 1. The User enters reservation information and completes payment
  • 2. The Company confirms via confirmation screen, email, or text message

The Company may refuse or cancel a reservation if:

  • • False or third-party information was used
  • • Payment was not successfully completed
  • • Minimum participants not met, or tour cannot operate due to unavoidable circumstances
  • • Price, inclusions, exclusions, language, duration, and conditions are specified on each product detail page.
  • • Items not expressly listed as included (e.g. personal meals, transportation during free time, travel insurance) are excluded.
  • • Prices may change due to exchange rate fluctuations. However, fully paid tours are subject to the price confirmed at payment.
  • • Users may pay using methods designated by the Company, such as PayPal.
  • • Currency conversion fees, international transaction fees, or other charges from payment providers are governed by their own policies.
  • • After payment, the Company will provide confirmation via the website, email, or text message.

Cancellation and refund conditions follow each tour's product detail page. Unless otherwise specified:

  • • Changes (date, number of participants) may be restricted or incur additional charges, and may not be possible within 24 hours of tour start.
  • • Refunds will be initiated through the original payment channel (e.g. PayPal). Actual timing depends on the provider's policies.

The Company may cancel or change a tour in the following cases:

  • • Severe weather, natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, or other force majeure events
  • • Failure to reach the minimum number of participants
  • • Situations where the User's safety is at serious risk

Company-caused cancellation

Tour fees already paid will be fully refunded.

Force majeure cancellation

The Company will prioritize safety, provide prompt notice, and propose alternative dates or refund options where reasonably possible.

  • • Failure to arrive at the meeting point on time without prior notice may be treated as a no-show, and no refund will be provided.
  • • If lateness causes missing all or part of the tour, no refund or compensation will be provided for the portion not attended.
  • • Users must comply with all applicable laws, these Terms, and instructions from the Company and guides during tours.
  • • Users are responsible for confirming that they and accompanying participants are physically and medically able to participate.
  • • If a User causes damage through intent or gross negligence, the User shall be liable for such damage.
  • • Some tours include photography or video services by professional photographers or guides.
  • • Photos and videos are primarily for delivery to the User and will not be used for marketing without separate consent.
  • • If the Company wishes to use such content for promotional purposes, it will obtain the User's prior consent.

The Company exercises reasonable care for safe and smooth tours. However, the Company is not liable for damage arising from:

  • • Accidents from the User's intent, negligence, or violation of Terms or safety instructions
  • • Force majeure events (weather, disasters, war, government regulations, epidemics)
  • • Acts of third parties beyond the Company's direct control (transport providers, restaurants, activity operators)

Liability Limit

Where liability is recognized under applicable law, the Company's total liability shall be limited to the amount actually paid by the User for the relevant tour.

  • • Certain tours may require mandatory travel insurance, indicated on the product detail page.
  • • Even where not mandatory, Users are strongly encouraged to obtain adequate travel insurance at their own expense.
  • • All intellectual property rights in the website, interface, text, images, logos, designs, videos, and other content are owned by the Company or its licensors.
  • • Users may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, modify, sell, or exploit such content without prior written consent.

The processing of Users' personal data is governed by our separate Privacy Policy, available at the bottom of the website.

  • • In the event of a dispute, the Company and User shall first endeavor to resolve the matter amicably through good-faith discussions.
  • • If unresolved, the dispute shall be submitted to the court having jurisdiction over the Company's principal place of business.
  • • These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
